PRAIRIE DU CHIEN – Ruth A. Mergen, age 84, formerly of Bloomington, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien. She was born November 6, 1939, in Glen Haven, WI; the daughter of Albert and Rosella Kirschbaum. She married Tom Mergen on April 16, 1958. Ruth was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandma. LIVINGSTON -Glen Clark Paulson, age 66, passed away on Friday January 12, 2024, at the University Hospital in Iowa City, IA after a brief battle due to a sudden illness. He was born on November 6, 1957, in Groton, Connecticut, the son of Rolf and Shirley (Mitchell) Paulson. He was united in marriage to Tina Roland on November 24, 2002, in Lancaster, WI. Glen left his home out east to begin a new journey. He ended up making Livingston his home and loved each and every day. He was employed at Burnham Lumber Company in Rewey for the past 24

MONTFORT – Charles “Charlie” Russell Sickles, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning January 6, 2024, at his residence in Montfort. He was born on February 1, 1986, in Platteville; the son of Charles and Jayne (Gundlach) Sickles. Charlie was the sweetest little child, and many recall him being a little ham known as “Charlie the Chunk”. He always loved being outdoors and enjoyed being in Boy Scouts as a child. DODGEVILLE – Heaven opened up another spot at the euchre table for Russell H. Mumm. Russell, age 62, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital – Madison. Russell was born on June 3, 1961; the son of William J. and Lela M. (Edge) Mumm. He graduated from Iowa-Grant High School in 1979 and worked in the trucking and farming industry for most of his life. Russell loved to spend time with his family enjoying a good meal or playing a card game, especially euchre. Russell was always on the move to help everyone.  Heaven
