He was born on February 16, 1936, in Stitzer the son of Jesse and Velma (Hicken) Keller. Bernard was united in marriage to Elaine Zart on June 20, 1957, at the Fennimore United Methodist Church.  Bernard liked fishing, hunting, music, and became an avid bird watcher. On Wednesday, November 17, 2021, Harriet Christine Copus, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 96 in Overland Park, Kansas. Harriet was born on April 17, 1925, in Castle Rock township, Grant County, Wisconsin to Leonard and Hannah Bach and was raised on a dairy farm in rural Castle Rock, along with her sister Laura. Harriet married her beloved husband Hank Copus on November 21, 1944, after Hank came back from fighting with the 112th Cavalry in the South Pacific during World War II. Monica S. McCartney, age 68, of Montfort, WI formerly of Stitzer passed away on Monday November 22, 2021, at the Lancaster Health Services in Lancaster. She was born on March 12, 1953, in Lancaster the daughter of Merlyn Dean and Rosalie (Graham) Ashman. She was united in marriage to Marvin McCartney. Monica grew up on the family farm in rural Lancaster. After her marriage to Marvin, they moved to Rockford, IL, starting their family, before returning to Lancaster. James “Jim” A. Horner, age 58, of Lancaster, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning November 25, 2021, in Lancaster. He was born December 18, 1962, in Mason City, IA, the son of Rodger and Mary (Burkholder) Horner. Jim graduated from Parker High School and then received his butchering degree from Southwest Technical College in Fennimore. He was employed at The Butcher Shop in Fennimore until becoming the meat manager at Copps Foods in Madison. Roy E. Danz, age 95, of Livingston, WI passed away on Friday morning November 26, 2021, at his residence in rural Livingston. He was born October 20, 1926, in LaMoure, ND, the son of Ernest and Minnie (Scheidegger) Danz. Roy was united in marriage to Ruth Lambie on November 27, 1953, in East Peoria, IL.
