Virgil M. Brodt, age 94, of Fennimore, WI passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday morning September 16, 2021, at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Fennimore. Virgil was born March 11, 1927, in Bagley, WI, the son of Orville and Ruby (Champion) Brodt. Virgil enlisted in the US Navy in 1945. He served in WW II in the Philippine Islands and the McManus Islands of the Admiralty Group by New Guinea. He was discharged in 1946. He graduated from Fennimore High School in 1947. Robert “Bob” D. Irish, age 85, of Reedsburg, WI formerly of Fennimore passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday morning September 15, 2021, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. Bob was born on June 17, 1936, in Potosi Township the son of Ted and Edith (Gillian) Irish. He graduated from Platteville High School and then from UW-Platteville. Bob married the love of his life Phyllis Bark on December 26, 1959. Bob was the Industrial Arts teacher at Fennimore High School for a few years until owning and operating his own business. Anna Mae Fritz, age 75, of Kendall, WI formerly of Fennimore passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Saturday evening September 11, 2021, at her residence in Kendall. Anna was born on May 17, 1946, in Gays Mills the daughter of Leo and Netti (Colson) Wallin. She graduated from Fennimore High School in 1964. Anna married the love of her life Marvin Fritz on September 25, 1965. Anna and Marvin took over the Fritz family farm in Mt. Ida and farmed until 1990 when they moved back to her childhood home, the Fennimore Branch Cheese factory. Anna helped

Jo Ann (Schambow) Wolenec, age 81, of Montfort, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville.  Jo Ann was born on June 14, 1940, to Arthur and Grace (Rowe) Schambow.  She graduated from Fennimore High School.  Jo Ann married Paul “Larry” Wolenec on February 28, 1959, in Platteville.  She and Larry lived for 60+ years of their married life on a farm north of Montfort.  Jo Ann enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing relaxing in the beautiful surroundings of the Blue River valley.  She will be remembered as a person who loved
