Dayle G. Meyer, age 94, of Bloomington, WI passed away on Sunday April 11, 2021 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. He was born on March 3, 1927 in Bloomington the son of George and Marie (Welsh) Meyer. After graduating high school in 1945, Dayle spent two years in the Army and stationed in Germany. On May 4, 1949, Dayle married Jane Hampton in Prairie du Chien and together they raised eight children in Bloomington. William Russell “Bill” Knotwell, age 68, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday April 1, 2021 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. He was born on June 15, 1952 in Lancaster the son of Russell and Lois (Duncan) Knotwell. Bill was united in marriage to Nancy Jay in May of 2011. Bill graduated from Lancaster High School in 1970. He drove semi-hauling oil rigging equipment out west for several years. Deborah Ann “Debbie” Schmieder, age 69, of Fennimore passed away on Monday March 29, 2021 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore. She was born on March 8, 1952 in Spring Grove, IL the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Emrick) Poehls. Debbie was married to Ronald Schmieder in October of 1972 in LaCrosse. Debbie graduated from Fennimore High School in 1970. She moved to LaCrosse for a few years until her marriage to Ron. They raised their family in Tomah until Ron’s untimely death.
