Charles O. Bickford, age 88, of Montfort, WI passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was born on September 3, 1932 in Livingston the son on Bert and Laura (Draves) Bickford. He was united in marriage to Janice Joy Swan on December 29, 1962 at the Calvary Evangelical and Reformed Church in Wauwatosa.  Charles graduated from Montfort High School in 1950. He enlisted in the Navy in March of 1956 and served overseas in the Philippines as part of the “Seabees” Construction Battalion. JoAnn O’Flahrity, age 85, of Cobb, WI passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Sunday March 14, 2021, at UW Hospital in Madison, WI, surrounded by her loving family.  JoAnn was born on September 7, 1935, the youngest daughter of Ray and Clara Harty.  She had many fond memories of growing up on the Harty family farm.  She graduated from Shullsburg High School in 1953 and went on to attend Edgewood College majoring in Business Education.  Following graduation, she began her lifelong career as a Business Education teacher for the Highland School District.  After retirement, she continued as a

Rita Elizabeth Cordts, age 94, of Montfort, WI passed away peacefully at Edenbrook of Platteville on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was born on May 22, 1926 in Highland the daughter of Edward and Katherine (Wolfe) Laufenberg. Rita attended St Anthony’s Catholic School and Highland High School. She worked at Parker Pen Company in Fennimore and Jimmy’s Spaghetti House in Madison. Rita was united in marriage to Ralph Cordts on November 18, 1946 at St Thomas Catholic Church in Montfort, WI. Ralph and Rita farmed until 1982 when they moved to Montfort. Rita was involved in 4-H as a Leader
