Duane K. Gilbertson, age 71, of Fennimore passed away on Thursday evening February 25, 2021 at University Hospital and Clinics in Madison. He was born on May 3, 1949 in Lancaster the son of Keith and Lois (Calvert) Gilbertson. Duane was united in marriage to Diane Ladika on May 10, 1985 and was later married to Judy Lis on October 8, 1998. Duane graduated from Fennimore High School. Patrick Zenus Chapman, age 80, of Montfort, WI died on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his residence in Montfort. He was born March 16, 1940 in Superior, Wisconsin the son of Patrick A. and Verna (Lagar) Chapman. He had a normal childhood. In June 1958, he graduated from Superior Central High School. Then went to Superior State Teachers College (now part of the UW system). He graduated with a BS degree, majored in History with minors in English, Political Science and Drivers Education. Arno Leslie Biddick, age 84, of Montfort, WI passed away on Saturday morning February 20, 2021 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI due to natural causes. He was born on October 11, 1936 in Platteville the son of Hobart and Margaret (Stephens) Biddick. Arno lived a simple life. He loved working on the family farm, playing and listening to music along with being a big sports fan. He would listen to all sporting events and especially his beloved Chicago Cubs. Elizabeth K. “Betty” Duff, age 59, of Fennimore passed away peacefully on Monday morning February 15, 2021 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing Services in Fennimore. She was born on May 23, 1961 in Boscobel the daughter of John and Mary (Stanek) Kohout. Betty was united in marriage to Stephen “Jeff” Duff on November 4, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV. James “Suds” E. Nemo, age 74, of Lancaster passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Tuesday February 2, 2021. He was born on February 5, 1946, in Lancaster the son of Paul and Ruby (Heberlein) Nemo. Jim graduated from Fennimore High School in 1964 and U.W. Platteville in 1969. His first marriage to Marilyn Galer brought into his life two precious children, Kara and Kraig. On March 1, 1989, Jim married Verda (Rideout) Fralick at St. Pauls Liberty Ridge Church in Lancaster.
