Kathleen P. Nemec, age 61, of Boscobel, WI passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday morning January 26, 2020 at her residence in rural Boscobel. She was born on July 22, 1958 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Bill and Toni (Rettler) Anderson. Kathleen was united in marriage to Larry Nemec on August 1, 1981 in Lake City, MN. Sarah Kymberly Walker, Yakima, Washington passed away on January 10, 2020. She was born on February 27th, 1982, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  When Sarah was in third grade, her family moved to Bruce, and later moving to Fennimore when she was a Freshman.  Sarah graduated from Fennimore in 2000, and would attend UW-La Crosse.   In 2005, Sarah moved to Granite City, Illinois, with her parents, where she would eventually meet her soulmate, Donnie McNeil while playing cribbage online.  Sarah then moved to Spokane, Washington to be with Donnie and his children, Naomi and Jacob. Mervin S. Bresee, of Fennimore, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday January 29, 2020 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing in Fennimore, WI. He was born on September 25, 1935 at home in Harrison Township near Platteville, WI, the son of LaVerne and Dorothy (Bisbach) Bresee. He attended Platteville Schools where he completed 8th grade and went on to work to help support his mom and siblings. In 1954, he joined the United States Army at the age of 19. Raymond Schildgen, age 99, of Cassville, WI passed away on Friday morning January 17, 2020 at the Orchard Manor in Lancaster. He was born on September 28, 1920 in Flora Fountain, WI also known as “Slabtown”, the son of John and Louise (Vogt) Schildgen. Ray was united in marriage to Stella Schmit on September 23, 1941 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington, WI. They were married for 57 years until her passing in 1998. Florence G. Friederick, age 91, of Fennimore passed away on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at the Hawkeye Care Center in Asbury, Iowa. She was born on November 15, 1928 in Key West, Iowa the daughter of William and Florence (Heacock) Kress. Florence was united in marriage to Ralph Friederick on October 27, 1948 in Key West, Iowa. Florence and Ralph farmed outside Fennimore for much of their lives. She loved being on the farm working next to her husband and children each day.
