Ann E. Mayne, age 85, of Mt. Hope, died unexpectedly on Friday March 23, 2018, at her residence in Mt. Hope. Ann was born on Dec. 14, 1932, in Terry Montana, the daughter of Arthur and Henrietta (Weigum) Reukauf. She was united in marriage to James Mayne on June 9, 1951 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. Ann moved to Mt. Hope in 1945 and graduated from Mt. Hope High School in 1950. George C. Conley

George C. Conley, age 89, of Fennimore, died on Saturday morning March 24, 2018, at the Fennimore Good Samaritan Society. George was born on Sept. 7, 1928, at home in Woodman Township, Grant Co., WI the son of Clem and Clara (Graser) Conley. He married Shirley Arneson on July 1, 1953 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church. After graduating from Mt. Hope High School, George farmed in Woodman Township for 52 years until moving into Fennimore in 2005 due to declining health. Alma M. Moneypenny

Alma M. Moneypenny, age 91, of Lancaster, went to her Heavenly Father on March 15, 2018 in her home surrounded by loving family. Alma was born on Oct. 24, 1926, in Excelsior, WI the daughter of Thomas G. and Lona L. (Kirkpatrick) Meeker. She married Floyd Moneypenny on March 27, 1943 at the United Brethren Church in Byrds Creek, WI. Alma and Floyd farmed together in the Millville and Boscobel area until 1978 when they retired and moved to Bruce, WI. While living there, they enjoyed several years fishing and watching wildlife out the window of their “lake home.” After

David O. Manthe

David O. Manthe, age 66, of Bagley, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday March 4, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison after a courageous battle with cancer. David was born on Jan. 31, 1952, at an army hospital in South Carolina, the son of David C. and Ann (Willard) Manthe. David married Nancy Larson on Dec. 9, 2017, after dating for 14 years. After graduating from Poynette High School, David attended U.W. Madison, receiving a degree in finance. He worked in banking for several years before being employed at Wisconsin Housing & Economic Development Authority (WHEDA)
