Fennimore, WI-Melvin Gene Klais, age 66, died on Saturday April 25, 2015 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA. Melvin was born on Oct. 9, 1948 in Liberty Township Grant Co., WI the son of Charles and Dorothy (Cooper) Klais. He was united in marriage to Lavon Fritsch on June 6, 1970 in Cobb. Melvin attended Liberty Ridge, Stitzer, and then Fennimore and graduated in 1967 from Fennimore High School. James Howard Gay, 96, Fennimore, passed away on April 11, 2015, at the Lancaster Care Facility. He was born January 17, 1919, to Carl Orville and Irene (Davidson) Gay in Seneca, WI. He went to school and graduated from Seneca High School.  Jim was united in marriage to Leora Mae Bell at the Steuben Congregational Church on November 17, 1942. They moved to Fennimore in 1943 where Jim started farming and continued until his retirement. John Edwin “Baldy” Kauffman Jr., age 90, died on Friday April 3, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Madison. John was born on August 30, 1924 in Millville, IA the son of John Sr. and Opal (Miller) Kauffman. Ronald “Ron” Noel Eggers, age 66 of Livingston, died on Thursday morning April 2, 2015 at the VA Medical Center in Madison.  Ron was born on Dec. 21, 1948 in Oak Park, IL the son of Arthur and Ann (Jacobs) Eggers.  He was united on marriage to Ellen Jennings on July 31, 1999.
