Fennimore, WI-Dr. James F. Lomas, 84, died Thursday Oct. 2, 2014 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. James was born on April 16,  1930, in Fennimore, WI, the son of George and Alma (Ford) Lomas.  James married his high school sweetheart, Donna Needham, on Aug. 16, 1952 in Fennimore. Bernadette Cummings

Muscoda, WI-Bernadette Cummings, age 89, died on Thursday morning Oct. 2, 2014 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. Bernadette was born on Aug. 24, 1925 in Castle Rock Township, Grant Co., WI the daughter of Gustave and Emma (Prochaska) Nowak. Bernadette was united in marriage to Leonard Cummings on June 12, 1948 in Castle Rock. After high school, Bernadette taught in rural schools for a few years before attending UW-Platteville to obtain her degree in primary education.  She then taught in Milwaukee area parochial schools for 15 years and in Milwaukee public schools for 18 years.  Bernadette retired after

Mt Hope, WI-James Carmody, age 59 died on Wednesday afternoon Oct. 1, 2014 at his residence in Mt Hope after a courageous battle with cancer. James was born on June 29, 1955 in Boscobel, WI the son of Leo & Blanche (Richter) Carmody. He was united in marriage to Lois Dressler on Aug. 22, 1981 at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church.
